A month ago, I felt a desire to explore new themes for my paintings. This is my second painting of my new series about Colorado Landscapes! Have a great week :)

I did some studies of the Colorado region and was surprised by how orange the rocks can be; it's something completely new to me. I live in Brazil, and we're in autumn. But here our landscape is very different, it has its own beauty too, but I wanted to explore how the rocks would look with snow. I've never seen snow up close, but I can imagine what it's like while I'm on the other side of the globe.

I wanted to capture the solitude of the deer looking at the light on the mountain peak, as a kind of hope for its journey during the coldest days. This painting has a special place in my heart; it was my first adventure with rocks, and I'm already creating a new scene. I hope to be able to complete some pieces of this for my new collection.
