Hi, I'm old! I just learned about Harefest yesterday and I'm honestly obsessed.
I'm planning on attending one full day without camping.
What's the vibe like? Any pro-tips to share? What is your favorite part of the event? What's the worst? Will I die of exposure out there on those Clackamas County fairgrounds?
Here is my fantasy: when I see a new vine, I cut it back. Then, I use a paintbrush to carefully apply an herbicide to the fresh cut...one that won’t affect other plants or animals in my yard. This kills the plant.
Is this realistic? If so, what herbicide would I use?
We have a 1/3 acre lot and fighting blackberries is so real every year. It would be really nice to feel like I'm actually getting some traction in the fight this year.
