I got accepted to University of Trieste in Electronics and Computer Engineering and my goal is to work in cybersecurity in the EU.
I’m wondering if this degree is a strong path for cybersecurity or if majors like Computer Science, Computer Engineering or AI would be better long term.
I’m also looking for other Italian universities still open for non-EU applications my priorities are strong reputation in tech/cybersecurity, affordable city and rent, scholarships, student life and part-time job opportunities.
Trying to make the smartest long-term choice instead of blindly picking a degree title and praying HR likes the spelling.
