Am I miserable or did my boss really have to fire me?
So my boss (35) wanted me (19) to take the 12-6am shift (I only work at night) and I said I couldn't because I wasn't feeling well.
He kept calling again and again asking what was going on so I told him that it was that time of the month and I'd need to change at least 3 times if I was gonna work.
Then he started ranting about how his sister (37) works every workday while she's on hers, so I should be the same.
I told him that I just wasn't feeling comfortable at the moment because I smell bad, I'd have to change a lot, and I'm in a ton of pain.
Then he says that because I'm "young" it shouldn't hurt that much and I shouldn't bleed so much.
I hung up, then he calls me back and starts talking about how desperate I was for the job. He asks me if my mom and dad weren't able to work, what I'd do in that situation and how I would handle not being able to work.
I tell him that I'd just take 4 days off, then continue working. He then starts telling me that if I'm so desperate for money then I should come to work right now and earn the money or else he won't pay me for tonight (I'm not stupid ik he won't..?)
I told him that I just needed 4 days off, and then I'll be able to work because I'll be in less pain and the flow will be smaller. Then he calls me stupid and says he's firing me for not fighting it.
