Did you tell your partner about your what caused your c/ptsd

I feel like if I told my girlfriend about my past it would be too heavy for her and look quite shameful and too deep for her

- both parents drug addicts of heroin
-bad physical violence
- mum caught hiv (from drug use) and then caught TB from hiv effects
- witnessed our dad smash mums head against doorframe , lots of blood, and dad sent to prison and we were taken to live in a safe house
-3 months later …me and my sister witnessed my own my mum die aged 9 of TB In the bathroom alone with blood hemorrhage

- amazingly this happened in England 1999, I’m still cannot believe social services allowed us to stay with our parents …..they werent really abuduve towards us but the conditions we grew up in….they should have saved us ……I guess we wouldn’t have wanted it as kids though….to be taken away from our parents

I feel if I told her she’d think WTF!?

Did anyone develop a hernia from kicking?

Maybe my technique isn't quite on point yet and im not rotating enough

when I kick but last night for the first time after 6 months training 1 x week....my lower right quadrant muscles below the abs felt strained and acute pain lasting several minutes

Now im not sure if this is a muscle strain, or me damaging muscles near my intestine.

I really don't want to develop a hernia where my intestines start poking through

Keep getting ghosted by Chinese recruiters/agencies ....Don't know why?

-N.E.S British with both English and Science Teaching Experience. (7 Years In Thailand)

-36 Years Old

-1st Class Degree In Geography with Environmental Studies

-All Documents Legalised/Notarised Except for Police Check.....(Want to apply for this ONCE job is secured because of the 6 month timeframe)

-I actually secured a chinese job just before COVID....got the Z-Visa and everything and on the day I was meant to fly .....China cancelled all flights because of COVID (probably saved me from a miserable time in China though who knows)

----

So I've got into contact with about 3 agencies....give them all my details, introductory videos. Then they just got completely silent on me........and I send them more messages but they don't even respond

I wouldn't be so bad if they were actively talking to me....telling me what jobs they are trying to help me apply for etc.......but they won't even reply to my messages after they get all documents from me so not sure what to do?!

Quite the washout should be coming with possible flooding

Marks the first day of real rainy season

I find it so weird….its the exact same day as 3 years ago? When school term just started on phuket?

And there was the first very heavy rains on that day also

especially for economy tickets

as a single person, on a fairly decent passive income $2000 a mont, i squawk at singapore airlines tickets

For example i'm looking at Phuket- osaka return end of may (6 hour flight) - the cheapest tickets are $1500 return economy.......just ridicolous prices

Whose is actually buying these ticket, ultra rich families.....? for a family of 4......thats $6000 in just airline tickets to go from thailand to japan

The future of Qatar looks rubbish if all their planes are going to 787 , especially in 3-3-3 config

I once rode in Qatar 787 Doha-London and let me tell you it’s there most cramped I’ve been on any airline ….my elbows were hitting person next to me when eating

🙄🙄🙄

Usually order meals from WECAFE....looks like they took to decision to raise by ALL items by about 10% at least since two weeks ago/iran war start

COme on I know margins are thin......but locally produced food hasn't actually moved much in price atoll from checking sites like Makro (imported food has increased a bit)

I realise margins might be a bit thin but why does wecafe automatically raise prices across the board 10% ....... I'm sure they are making a decent profit.........why can't they accept some lower profits for a while

It's not like a massive cost for them is fuel .........all the ingredients for a chicken mango wrap are the same price as they were 2 weeks ago, but they raised the price from 220 baht to 255 baht.......Pre Covid the price was 160/180 I think

A mango chicken wrap is now 255 baht.......290 baht with grab delivery......thats nearly 8 pounds or $10 for a freaking wrap for fck sake.......this is a thai run restaurant and prices are now starting to catch up with western prices...........

Used to be able to eat out many times a week in thailand, looks like it will be soon to expensive to do that
