How to deal with post-workout anxiety?

I have been trying to workout consistently lately. I’m only used to long walks but lately I have been doing 30-40 minutes of strength training. For only a couple of days, I can already see how it makes me sleep early + good sleep at night. It’s my 4th day now, but for the past two days I’ve noticed it’s making me anxious from minute 1 up to 3-4 hours post-workout.

The soreness, muscle ache, or panting is making me overthink about my health. I have been checking my blood pressure and even my heart rate is not even over 100 but it felt like I’m “palpitating” and that I am catching my breath… Even though I’m not. The feeling goes away when I stand up and do something, but it consumes me when I’m at rest.

How do I deal with this?

Pick your non-chocolate cookie: Ube or carrot cake?

Perfect sa mga trentahin, kwarentahin, at gusto yung “hindi masyado matamis”. 💜🧡

While the ingredients are not complicated for classic brownies, my problem is always baking it and looking cakey. Today I think this batch is perfect. :)

I have 3 parcels that I am aware na idedeliver ngayon. 2 out of 3 dumating na.

Now, around past 4PM, nakakareceive ako ng weird one-ring calls… Walang chance for me to answer kasi binababa na. So tumawag ako. When I called, sumagot siya by saying “wrong number po mam”.

Then gabi na hindi pa dumadating parcel ko. Pagcheck ko, nakalagay na recepient not at delivery location, when 2 of my parcels nadala naman dito at nareceive ko at kanina pa nga ako nagaabang.

Now, his proof was his screenshots of his “calls” na din ko sinasagot when yung calls naman nya ay one ring. At nung tumawag ako siya pa nagsabi na “wrong number lang po”.

Hay sana bumalik na J&T sa Shopee.

My recent client told me that his business has shifted and he had to let me go. I started working for him way back 2024 and back then, we were a 6-person team, including my client. 2 Americans (including my client), 2 Filipinos, 2 Europeans.

I was the social media manager working for Facebook and Pinterest accounts for the business, the rest of them were web designers, graphic designers, and writers.

At first, 1 Filipino and 1 American was laid off, then as we enter 2026, suddenly it was just me and my client because he relieved the two Europeans. By then, he taught me how to use AI to write articles, make graphics, and design the website on top of social media management. And after 4 months of that, I got laid off.

Wala naman, I was just in pure shock. Focus nalang muna siguro ako sa baking, I guess?
