Farevertrade

Hello everyone,

What a long and incredible week. Farevertrade was showcased the night the game launched and there were no shortage of redditors quick to point out "ai slop."

Well, today, I'm proud to showcase something that has ascended the ai slop category. From ai slop to posts nonstop, the Farevertrade hub is booming with listings. If you are seriously playing this game, you'll want this resource bookmarked.

Thank you everyone who continues to use it!

Hello Community,

I know you are all getting sick AND tired of seeing my name pop up. I just wanted to provide an update on our community trade hub. I was getting too many mentions about the domain name. The program I built the app through had options for a dedicated domain name. The new url can be found on my reddit account info. I'm not supposed to be posting links during to these threads. There is a changelog on the front page of the site. It explains changes made to it.

I didn't necessarily have the entire skillset to pull this off, which had me nervous in the early stages of attempting this. All I want to say to that is that I am learning a ton from taking on this task and its been an absolute blast the last 2 days. Thank you guys for being a part of it!

Farever is an MMO that launched early access May 6. I went to work immediately after playing a few hours. I made note of a few things people were mentioning in their negative reviews on steam. Aside from the server issues people complained about that were always going to inevitably be dealt with, I saw genuine concerns about the lack of trading and gold transfer. The lack of group finder. I also recalled back to Guild Wars 1's launch back in 2005. It launched without an auctionhouse and never implemented an in game one to this day. I remember the community doing something amazing in light of having a lacked feature. They got creative and built a resource that would become and act as THE main place to visit for information related to the game. I see this resource becoming that for Farever. The tool I built has a way to facilitate honest and honorable trades, coupled with a trade log mechanism to keep people accountable. There is a dungeon finder feature, fully functioning and live. Finally, I've been working to create a wiki style database with all the information about the game. Currently, the archives are filled with thorough information about each class and 18 of the known weapons in the early release.

One of my next moves is going to be setting up a dedicated domain name for the tool. One of the only things I'm noticing hesitation from the community is the perception of the current domain. I used a free resource to build this app. I wasn't sure I'd get so invested in it. Stay tuned for regular updates to the website.

Hello Everyone,

I grew up playing guild wars 1 during it's earliest days. That mmo did not have an auctionhouse in the game at launch. The community worked together and created a website that essentially became the commonplace location to facilitate trades in the game. I understand that Farever doesn't have a tradition trade window or even, to my knowledge, an ability to drop or trade gold, HOWEVER, I put a little project together. It will act as the auctionhouse for Farever. Obviously, without certain features, itll have to function initially as an item to item trade post. You'd meet in game, join party, drop each others item, and go on about your business. There is a rating system that will allow you to track trades to allow honest players the ability to build a reliable history before the real trading happens at launch launch. There is a dungeon finder section as well. Anyways, I have a passion for the game and want to see it flourish. Here is : https://farevertradehub.lovable.app/
