We’re a group of 4-5 friends from Pune planning a Goa trip and wanted some help with a solid itinerary because we really don’t want to mess this up 😅

Trip details:
- Travelling from Pune to Goa via bus
- Total trip duration: around 6-7 days including travel days
- Plan is to do both North Goa + South Goa
- Thinking of 3 days in North Goa and 3 days in South Goa
- We’ll be renting a car in Goa itself (self-drive preferred)

A bit of context:
Out of us 5, 3 people (including me) have already been to North Goa before, but 2 friends haven’t, so we want to cover the classic North Goa experience too while also trying some new things.

We know some North Goa food spots already like Fat Fish, Burger Factory, etc., but would love more recommendations.

Need help with a proper itinerary (day-wise if possible):

1. Stay recommendations (important)
   We’re looking for decent and clean Airbnb-type stays / 2BHK flats that can comfortably accommodate 4-5 people.

Not looking for luxury villas or anything fancy, just:
- Clean
- Safe area
- Good location
- Budget-friendly / value for money

We’ll need separate stays in both North and South Goa, so:
- Best areas to stay in North Goa?
- Best areas to stay in South Goa?

Would love recommendations for places that are practical for exploring nearby spots and nightlife.

2. Car rental suggestions
   We want to rent a self-drive car in Goa for the whole trip.

Please suggest:
- Trusted rental places
- Areas to rent from
- Approx expected pricing
- Whether it’s better to rent from airport/Madgaon/Panjim/Mapusa side
- Any scams or things to avoid?

3. North Goa itinerary (3 days)
   Need suggestions for a proper 3-day North Goa plan.

We want a mix of:
- Beaches
- Sunset spots
- Cafes
- Good food
- Nightlife
- Activities
- Scenic drives
- Hidden gems if worth it

Since 2 of our friends are first-timers, we still want to cover the “must-do North Goa” experience.

Would love recommendations for:
- Best beaches to actually chill (not just overcrowded)
- Good sunset points
- Café recommendations
- Local Goan food
- Seafood/fish thali places
- Best breakfast/brunch places
- Late-night food spots

Also, we’ve heard about Shiva Valley and techno/rave scenes around Goa.

Would love recommendations for:
- Best techno / rave / psytrance / underground music scenes
- Places worth going vs overrated
- Days/events to look out for
- Beachside parties
- Any clubs/events locals actually recommend

4. South Goa itinerary (3 days)
   Need a detailed South Goa plan too.

We want:
- Chill vibe
- Scenic places
- Less crowded beaches
- Good cafés
- Authentic Goan food
- Activities

Especially interested in:
- Kayaking (backwaters / bioluminescence if worth it?)
- Water activities
- Hidden beaches
- Nature spots
- Sunset places

Please suggest:
- Best beaches in South Goa
- Must-visit cafés/restaurants
- Best places for Goan thali + seafood
- Activities that are actually worth spending on

5. Food recommendations (very important 😂)
   Would love separate suggestions for North & South Goa for:
   - Fish thali
   - Seafood
   - Goan local food
   - Cafes
   - Breakfast spots
   - Good burgers/pizzas
   - Cheap hidden gems
   - Must-try places

We’re not luxury travelers, but also don’t want to compromise too much if something is genuinely worth spending on.

Basically looking for a complete detailed Goa game plan for 6-7 days so we can have a balanced trip between North + South and not waste time figuring things out after reaching 😭
