Need an escape. Looking for volunteer work in Goa in exchange for stay+food (21F)

Hi, I live in delhi and the past few weeks have been very daunting. nothing is working out for some reason and I'm taking it as a sign to stop caring honestly.

if you have a property in Goa and need a volunteer (I will do anything), please contact me.

I have vast experience in writing and content but again I'm willing to do anything - housekeeping, decoration, gardening etc. thank you for reading this.

Goa trip (24th April) – cafe, club & beach recs? (18 y/o)

Hey guys,

Me and my 2 friends are visiting Goa from 24th April for a few days. We’re all 18 and staying near Candolim Road (Airbnb).

We’re looking for suggestions for:

Good cafes (aesthetic, chill vibe, good food)

Clubs/party places (good crowd + music)

Nice beaches nearby (not too crowded if possible)

We don’t mind travelling at all, so even South Goa recommendations are welcome.

Also had a couple of doubts:

Since we’re 18, how strict are clubs with ID checks? Will we face issues getting entry?

Any suggestions for car/bike rentals? We all carry valid licenses, so thinking of renting something to explore properly

We’re mainly looking around North Goa (Candolim, Baga, Anjuna, Vagator etc.), but open to anything worth it.

Would really appreciate some solid recommendations 🙌

f20, travelled to goa solo last week for 3D2N, from delhi under 14k

my biggest expense was tickets at 8k, got student discount and other jugaad

did hostel for my stay in arpora

first day: landed, rented a scooty and explored arambol, mandrem and arpora side of north goa

went to to mandrem beach, it is so secluded that there aint even shaks and sat by the beach during sunset, then went to a near by flea market and bought small stuff ended up going to a small pizzeria which had a hidden bar for dinner

second day: started with going to mojigao cafe, i think one of the best cafes i have been to, full natural vibes, sat there for a long time with my laptop, then with some people at my hostel went to ozran beach club for sundowner, highly recommend, they have a private beach and the views you get are amazing, went for clubbing in the night at noah club

third day: went to panjim, went to mr baker 1922 for authentic goa bakery and also roamed around the coloured houses locality and ended the trip with a hearty goan fish thali

my friend fed my itinerary to gamma and asked it to make a deck for his 5D4N so you can check it out as well, this is a great hack btw to make your itinerary easily by copy pasting someone else’s in gamma

Went solo to goa

It was a spontaneous trip and I met good guys and also my friend from school time , literally had the best time last 4-5 night

Although I wanted to explore arambol and hidden things but when I reached I found nothing

So that was a bit disappointing for me

Other than that it was great

The Laterite Library: Decoding Goa’s Prehistoric Soul Written in Stone. 30,000 Years of Art at Usgalimal!

When you think of Goa, you think of parties, beaches, casinos, and nightlife. Who would have thought you can actually witness the handiwork of our early ancestors etched into the very earth we walk on?

Hidden away from the neon lights and coastal crowds, the Usgalimal Petroglyphs offer a profound shift in perspective. From the Goa of the present to the Goa of 30,000 years ago.

The Laterite Library: Echoes on the Kushawati

On the quiet banks of the Kushawati River in Sanguem, the modern world falls away, replaced by a massive laterite shelf that serves as a prehistoric canvas. Here, the Upper Paleolithic and Mesolithic communities left behind a "lithic library," documenting their world long before the first temples or churches were ever conceived.

As you walk across the sun-warmed rock, figures emerge from the stone:

The Labyrinth: A mesmerizing, winding spiral that hints at ancient rituals or early celestial understanding.

The X-Ray Vision: Animals like deer and zebu bulls are depicted with a raw, "X-ray" clarity, showing a sophisticated understanding of anatomy and movement.

The Shaman's Path: Anthropomorphic figures and footprints remind us that these weren't just carvings—they were likely part of a sacred space or a communal gathering ground.

So there we are. These were the first visitors - thousands of years ago.
