I am joining for spring lsc, which always makes me like a disadvantage for the full freshman expierence and making friends. I am also living outside of campus.
I really would like to meet as many people as possible and make friends. What specific clubs or events are great for this? Does spring start lsc make it harder to make friends?
Hi! I’m an incoming college student for NYU, and i am moving from Washington state to NYC.
I’m honestly scared on how I will be manage myself financially. My tuition is fully covered, but I do get around $5,037 per a month for housing allowance from my scholarship. But I don’t think I can spend all of it on just rent because I have to pay for food,electricity, basic supplies, and etc. I know food is expansive around there too. Also I am not living on campus
Should I be in a spot where I must get a part time job while attending college? I feel like because of my major and my goal to attend med school, I will be extremely busy studying, internships, I feel like a job will make it very difficult to balance everything.
Also very important, my scholarship will not give me housing allowance in months I am not attending college. So during breaks I will not get payed so I will some how need save thousands for 3 monthes.

Instead of posting about if a wave went off today, what time, any questions or things you know about the waitlist a gc could be easier to communicate

So far yesterday I seen like 3 people get off across all schools/locations. Sure there might be some who don’t have social media or not posting but I feel like this is a small number.
Today, I’ve only seen 2-3 people off the LS waitlist and overall. Why is it so small amount of people?
Will this release more over the weekend? Will it be very weekday? It’s just weird that it’s only a small amount of people getting off at a time
IM SCARWD. They said a lot of people accepted their offers. Is this a bad sign? Did they send this out last year when they started waitlist?
Are they tryna see if I can skip ahead of English classes?
