kind of an odd question to ask but when he found out his son had a black friend he talks about how a bad influence hip hop is at the dinner table and then in their room, he talks to his wife about Virgil’s kind being a bad influence and she tells him to keep his voice down.
was he like that when they met or was she more like him back then?
we saw originally that Goku going super saiyan and others got a muscular increase. especially Goku in the frieza saga, him transforming against 19 increased his muscle size a bit.
but in the cell saga after he mastered the form, we don’t see this anymore. his super saiyan form maintains the muscle his base form has.
but we see it again with ssj2, Gohan gains some size transforming into it. also Goku is shredded as a ssj3.
with dragon ball super the universe 6 saiyans don’t seem to change build with super saiyan 1 but at that point I just chalk it up to art style differences or maybe they already have mastered ssj automatically who knows.
I was watching an old podcast and learned that keegan keys half brother didn’t even know who he was until he already died was Dwayne Mcduffie, insane odds of that.
I imagine they may get rid of that beginning of game install for mgs4 since it would be right in the SSD. plus the load times being shorter and framerate higher and more stable. I could see several minutes shaved off the run from that alone.
mgs peace walker is probably gonna shave off 10 minutes or more. since every single segment is its own mission with its own loading screen individually. if those were all cut in time by half it would be significant. plus all the segments in every mission itself. like you have to track through 5 different areas of the map to finish and a significant chunk of that time is just loading screen for the next area.
I imagine if his mother was alive it wouldn’t have been much of a thing in the news as she likely would have kept custody. would it change the upcoming election, some seem to think it would?
the Totally Not Mark guy made a video a little while ago where he makes his own manga chapter of dragon ball z where trunks meets king Kai to make the spirit sword thing make more sense. he hired 2 artists to help make his script into a manga and 30 pages and like 150 panels or so and it took him nearly a year to do it.
manga writers like toriyama were putting these things out every week consistently, he had to write it at a certain quality almost off the dome and write and draw it every single week.
no wonder some of these guys have major health issues and burn out.
when we meet Diane’s parents in Boston, they turn out totally unexpected. like trashy Boston stereotypes complete with the Boston accent, what sports team they’re into and the mannerisms and attitudes. the soblings besides Diane are all like this.
in a later episode we get a flash back of Teen Diane asking her father about their Vietnamese roots. Diane knows she’s different from the other kids and wonders about her roots. her dad tells her she’s the same as all the other kids and don’t let anyone tell her different.
Diane reveals her father is a Tenured professor of Vietnamese history or studies at Tufts University.
he says that’s his job and he wouldn’t ask her to have her period on her day off.
anyway how can such an educated man who’s so familiar with Vietnamese history be like this? it’s played for jokes but what if it’s because as a refugee escaping from Vietnam, he saw some horrible things and when he comes home to his family he decides to totally disassociate from it. maybe it’s a misguided way of not taking his demons home with him.
im guessing Diane’s mom is similar or maybe she just follows behind her husband.
he seems to hate his mother way more than his father. I can’t really think of any instances that would work. bojack was in football, maybe he scored a touchdown at some point. but butterscoth likely doesn’t give a crap about sports.
maybe his first date with a girl.
is there any instance of a time they may have had a positive moment even hypotehtically.
even Diane likely had some kind of positive or semi positive moment with her family. like when her dad told her she was just like all the other kids, before the period comment.
should be a lot of players who know the sequel is coming and want to play 2 to get good at it again or just as hype to the lead up to the game.
have player numbers increased in response to the rumors?
