Wash Problem!!

Wash Problem!!

My Kinder inserts keep retaining these red stains on them after washing. The red stains smell like poop. However, none of my other inserts or pockets have any sort of stain or any sort of bad odor (they all smell fresh). I've never had any issue before but this keeps happening.

My wash routine is as follows:

Every 2-3 days I spray the poop off of everything with a sprayer. Then I throw them all in the wash. I do-

Half a scoop of tide powder detergent on warm water and the "regular" wash setting. Followed by a whole scoop of detergent on hot water on a "heavy" wash setting. After that all of the pockets and inserts are thrown into the drier until they're dried.

Any idea what i should do to resolve this?

Hey guys! I'm having my second baby in a few months. I didn't start cloth diapering with my first until she was 7 months old. I want to start cloth diapering from birth this time. We exclusively use the Kinder all-in-one pocket diapers (with various inserts). So my question is this:

1: do the Kinder all-in-one pockets really work for newborns?

2: what system would you guys recommend for newborns / what should I buy?

Thank you :)

Hi everyone! I recently started cloth diapering my 7-month-old baby full time. I had a few questions that I couldnt find online and wondering if anyone could help!

1: I use exclusively Kinder pocket diapers. I got the parent starter 30 pack that included a bunch of their inserts as well. I also have Osocozy BetterFit prefolds in size 2 that I stuff the pocket diapers with as well. I am expecting my second baby in a few months (so i need to upsize my stash) and i was wondering what inserts you guys would recommend for pockets? I love the Kinder inserts but I am struggling to justify the cost.

2: are there any other pockets that you guys like other than Kinder?

3: what fleece liners do you guys recommend for keeping baby dry?

4: how do you know when the baby needs a change? Cloth diapers dont seem to smell the same way that disposables do, and they dont have an indicator line. How do you guys know when to change your little one on a consistent basis?

5: what is your wash routine? I think i have mine figured out but i still want to hear what works for other people!

Thank you guys :)

Hello everyone. My grandfather passed away recently and his funeral is tomorrow. I plan on bringing my 7-month-old daughter (his great-granddaughter). The whole event is from 2-4PM. 2-3PM is the viewing and 3-4PM is the funeral service. Would it be socially acceptable to bring my daughter in a stroller? I just feel like holding her, her diaper bag, and my purse for 2 hours while also trying to manage her will be alot. But I also don't want to be disrespectful or rude by bringing her in a stroller. I dont know what the socially acceptable thing to do is and it's bringing me alot of anxiety. Let me know what you would do if you were me. Thank you guys
