"Autistic Regression" in toddlers.

When autistic kids reach 2 or 3 years old, get quiet and withdrawn, overwhelmed, burnt out, and cope with extra stimming and/or mutism, it is pathologised to fuck and everyone loses their minds as if the kid was suddenly brain damaged.

Meanwhile, NT kids are over here SCREAMING, KICKING, BITING, throwing shit, smashing shit.... all because someone, idk, cut their apple the wrong way and everyone just shrugs and says, "Lol! Terrible Twos amirite!?"

Just my thoughts after observing some kids.

Like, disability is a thing, but also, so are double standards.

My legs have always been heavy, but I was running 10k's and training every day before pregnancy.

It's been over 2 years since my kid was born, and my legs are showing no signs of returning to how they were before. They're now just solid columns.

The "official" advice is no running. But I'm really missing training consistently and would love to build back up.

I would really appreciate hearing from anyone else with this.
