So fantasy used to be my favorite genre. I will still read any standalone from the genre if it's worth reading. Growing up there were almost zero fantasy books written in my mother tongue and whatever books were available were just retelling of theology. So I had no option but to read works of british, American and canadian authors. As I read more my native literature I encountered some short stories which could fall into this genre but what shocked me was these works were looked down upon by readers. This thought has been bugging me for some time now. Why is there not more fantasy in other parts of the world? Maybe they are there but unknown to me. But it is undeniable that british and Americans have bigger legacy when it comes to fantasy. If there is any good research I would love to read it.

I came to know this subs existence just now. I need to tell this to someone. I worked in one of flipkarts warehouse and I resigned in January because I wasn't paid my salary. I complained to HR and manager both but both were unhelpful. My salary was basic but it's still close to 30 thousand rupees total for both months. Since last month HR even stopped receiving my calls. Fuck flipkart man. I hope their warehouses burn down.
