Hi there - I’m sure this is continuing postpartum hormones as I’ve recently stopped feeding my 11 month old but for the past 2-3 months, I’ve become increasingly convinced my daughter hates me. When she is with me alone, she is happy and engaged, but if her dad is around, she will scream and scream and sob until he picks her up, at which point she will immediately stop. If I’m holding her, she will shove me away and point at him and sob. It’s starting to really get me down. I have been her primary carer for 11 months albeit my husband has been on paternity leave for the past 4-5 weeks. I breastfed until about 10 months and generally do all meals, naps and bedtime. My husband generally takes her for bath time and gets her into her PJs and that is their time each day.

Does anyone have any advice? I feel like such a bad mum.

We have recently acquired a house in Weybridge and I’m worried about the empty units on the high street. Is it still a nice place to live? We love its easy commute, river walks and community feel but I’m worried we’ve made a bad choice from an investment perspective. I think prices are stabilising and the ‘dramatic drops’ are a price correction but can anyone help give me any peace of mind?
