A bolt thrower to bolster my Sea Guard unit.
I’m not 100% sold on the gold and tan scheme for the bolt thrower itself - it’s all a bit neutral - but a painted model is better than an unpainted one.
Next up, Storm Weaver and/or Great Eagle.
I’ve always looked at getting a fire prism - mostly because I don’t have one and I usually hear good things - but I’ve been put off by some of their abilities benefitting from running two or more - which I’m pretty sure I don’t want to do. I’m not a hugely competitive player, so is it still worth it?
After a couple of months (I got distracted by a couple of other projects!) my first 20 strong unit of Cothique (Lothern) Sea Guard is the start of a garrison.
These minis are crazy detailed for pretty ordinary rank and file, and would be hard to paint quickly in any case, but they look nice when ranked up.
I’ve got an eagle-claw bolt thrower, a storm weaver or a great eagle to work on next.
