How I finally found the best hair perfume after wasting money on the pretty ones

Went through gisou, ouai, and a byredo hair mist over about eight months, all beautiful, all gone within two hours, all priced like that was acceptable. The throughline was that every expensive option I tried was essentially just a light EDP in a smaller bottle with a story about hair care attached to it. Nice scent, zero function beyond that.

Started paying attention to whether anything addressed the odor absorption problem rather than just layering fragrance on top of it. Hair picks up everything, cooking smells, smoke, that specific subway air, and most options just add a pleasant scent on top of whatever's already there. Some brands like kitsch have odor eliminating technology built into the formula rather than just fragrance, which is a genuinely different product from everything else in the category. Once I understood that distinction the whole market made more sense, most of what's out there is scent delivery, a smaller number of products are actually doing something functional on top of that.

Still have my gisou for days when I want something that feels more luxurious in application. But for daily use the kitsch warm sugar does more for less and that's hard to argue with once you've noticed the difference.

Revenue based financing vs SBA loan, honest comparison

These two get compared constantly but they're not really competing for the same situation, so here's where each one actually makes sense.

Speed: SBA 7(a) loans take 30 to 90 days from application to funding, sometimes longer depending on the lender and how clean your documentation is. Revenue based financing typically moves in 24 to 72 hours once you've submitted bank statements and a basic application. If your capital need has a deadline, that difference isn't just inconvenient, it effectively disqualifies one of the options.

Cost: SBA loan rates are lower on paper, but the real cost calculation includes the opportunity cost of waiting 60 to 90 days while your business need goes unmet, and for a lot of owners that math actually flips when you factor in what the capital could've done in that window. Revenue based financing costs more per dollar borrowed, on $100K at a 1.25 factor you're paying back $125K, but the capital is working for you immediately rather than sitting in an application queue.

Documentation: SBA wants three years of tax returns, a business plan, personal financial statements, and sometimes collateral. Revenue based financing runs mostly on bank statements since recent cash flow is considered more predictive of repayment ability than historical tax documents.

Who qualifies: SBA has real minimums on credit score, time in business, and revenue. Revenue based lenders care primarily about current monthly deposits, so businesses that are too young or have credit issues that banks reject can still get through.

Repayment: SBA is fixed monthly payments over a set term regardless of how business is going. Revenue based financing collects a portion of daily revenue, so a slow month automatically costs less without requiring any renegotiation.

If you have clean books, months to wait, and your capital need is planned in advance, SBA is worth pursuing. If you need capital in days, have a thin credit file, or your business doesn't fit the SBA profile, revenue based financing is the realistic path.

It’s interesting how quickly costume trends change depending on what’s popular in movies at the time. A few years ago, certain superhero outfits were everywhere, and now you start seeing completely different designs taking over, especially with newer films and alternate versions of characters. What surprised me a bit is how much influence recent movie details have on what people actually look for when buying costumes. It’s not just about the character anymore, it’s about the specific version… the exact suit design, colors, textures and even small accessories that match what’s shown on screen.

When I started paying more attention to what people are choosing, a few patterns became clear. Spider-Man variations, especially multiverse versions, seem to stay consistently popular. Batman designs have also shifted toward darker and more detailed suits, which people seem to prefer now compared to older styles. Characters like Black Panther and Doctor Strange also stand out because of their unique visual designs that feel different from typical superhero costumes. What’s interesting is that newer versions of these characters often become more popular than the original ones, probably because they feel more updated or visually appealing. I also noticed that people who are into cosplay or events don’t just look for basic costumes anymore, they want something closer to what they saw in the movie.

To explore what’s actually available, I went through different listings across platforms like Alibaba, Amazon and a few costume-specific stores. There’s a huge range, from simple affordable versions to highly detailed costumes with accessories and better materials. Some are clearly designed for casual use, while others are meant for serious cosplay or events. Reviews and images helped a bit in understanding quality differences, but they didn’t always match expectations perfectly. At this point it feels like popularity in superhero costumes is closely tied to current movie trends, but also depends on how accurately the design is recreated. It’s not just about choosing a character anymore, it’s about choosing the right version of that character.

Not a tech person, just someone who got tired of spending half their day on tasks that felt like they shouldn't require a human. I've done some research and started running an openclaw agent through clawdi on telegram for a couple of months and these are the things that have became way easier:

Inbox triage. Every morning there's a summary waiting for me organized by urgency, anything that needs a same day response is flagged separately, I stopped opening email first thing and starting from zero still have to spot check it makes mistakes occasionally

Meeting prep. I text the agent the name of whoever I'm meeting with and it pulls together context from previous conversations, any relevant emails, and a quick background summary, it takes some prep but less than before

Following up on things I said I'd do. I used to keep a separate list of commitments I made in meetings, now I just tell the agent during or after the call and it tracks it and reminds me before it becomes awkward (works 90% of the times)

Research tasks that used to take an afternoon. Competitor pricing background on a new client summarizing a long document I don't have time to read properly I send it off and come back to a summary, this is pretty cool for a first layer of research

Drafting first versions of things. Proposals, update emails, recaps. I give it the key points and it drafts something in roughly my voice that, it's similar to chat gpt function

None of this is magic and it's not perfect either. But it fs does make things easier the activation energy for each of these tasks used to be high enough that I'd procrastinate on them, now it's a telegram message so it's way easier to get started on it
