Hi everyone. I am looking at flights from Buenos Aires to New York with Avianca and the cheapest option has a connection in Bogota of 1 hour and 45 minutes.

My brother thinks that is too short and now I am worried because I read some comments saying that connections in Bogota can be stressful or confusing.

Has anyone here done a similar connection at El Dorado airport? Is 1 hour and 45 minutes usually enough if both flights are with Avianca on the same ticket?

Did you have to go through security again or immigration in Bogota before flying to the US?

I would really appreciate hearing your experiences because I am trying to decide if this is a bad idea or actually pretty normal. Thanks!
