Are conservatives going to help the farmers?

**edit And sorry about the headline. I mean conservative voters. Not the people in government. I’m asking because maybe they have more power than non conservative voters. I’m asking if they will advocate for the water like the republicans are doing in Utah. Hope this helps my post make more sense

I am not going to lie I am not conservative but most of my family is and we finally see eye to eye on an issue. So I was thinking really the conservatives are in power and it looks like they will be for a while. Are conservatives going to help the farmers and save the water from billionaires like Kevin O’Leary and that Australian woman? I feel like I’m out numbered everywhere I go so I’m not going to try to convince you of anything but I’m curious on peoples real thoughts about the water issue. We all know that the internet is broken and it’s hard to find the truth about things but when we talk to the real albertans we know especially the farmers. Are they worried? I know in Utah they are sure making a big stink and it seems like it’s mostly republicans. So I was curious if the conservatives up here in Alberta are feeling the same way about the AI project.

Violence doesn’t have a race, a class, a religion, or a nationality, but it does have a gender

Respond- men only. Since so many men want to have a voice in this women’s group then respond to this. I’m not going to ask for anything in particular. Just the response you feel is needed. Go ahead please.

Thoughts on the men’s loneliness epidemic

Tonight my waitress overheard our conversation of me and some girls and said that she thinks the men’s loneliness epidemic is just men seeing and feeling the effects of the changing world and they are all sad and depressed about what they feel they are loosing. Now I can’t get this thought out of my head. Thoughts?

I couldn’t help get a bit sassy on the form. I have an older child and I wish I kept her form but I remember multiple outcomes that had to do with reproduction but also consent. I think they taught that kids develop puberty at different times and you need to be kind and respectful. I remember this one because my girls are not even close yet compared to their friends and I was so happy to see that. Now it’s just this one outcome with literally no socio or emotional components. Is it just me or does this feel very handmaids tale?

Wasted my afternoon with my whimsical idea of taking my preteens to their favourite artist Bruno mars for my daughter’s birthday. It would be a 13 hour drive from Edmonton to Vancouver but we could stay with friends. My husband has clients there so he could do a work trip and that would help gas and maybe 1 night hotel. But when I looked at the ticket prices for the worst seats it’s almost $550 Canadian. It’s 4 shows almost sold out. Who buys these tickets? A family of 4 $2200 ? I grew up going to a lot of concerts. It felt expensive but not go to Mexico all inclusive expensive. I guess my kids just don’t get to go to big concerts ever. Rant over sorry if I’m old. I just think it sucks

Just got back today! I heard that you don’t go to Costa Rica for the food so I lowered my expectations and I totally disagree. I had a few disappointing meals and all were at expensive beach restaurants. The best is the sodas. Just eat the meal of the day. Rice, beans and then they just put random meat and sauces. The best!
