PSA: If you have a white gold Odysseus, I highly recommend a custom Delugs strap. I just got mine in blue sailcloth and the watch connection is absolutely perfect. See pics. I’ve already ordered another one, in light gray nubuck. They can make a custom strap in any color and material that they offer.

These pics look a bit too royal blue. In real life it's a dark navy and goes great with the grey face. I can actually see why some of you think it doesn't look good. This blue looks too bright.
To those of you who think a sailcloth strap looks too casual or "sporty" with a Lange, I guess you're not aware but this watch is in fact delivered with black rubber. I was actually trying to dress it up a bit.
I posted this because I wanted folks to be aware that a custom strap fitting the odd end link situation was possible with Delugs. The fit and finish is excellent. You dont have to go with blue sailcloth. There are about 1000 other choices.
The snobbery around Delugs is just ridiculous. I have over 20 watches, many similarly high horology and have gone through nearly every high end strap manufacturer. Two things are a fact, despite what some of you say: 1. Delugs material and construction quality are absolutely the equal of anyone, and 2. their standard "free" buckle is one of the best (especially their newest version). It is certainly nicer than the one JR will send you. Would I prefer to use the white gold Lange buckle? Sure, but I have three (soon to be 4) straps for this watch and I am not going to swap the buckle out every time I change a strap, nor am I going to spend $4000+ for 3 additional Lange buckles.
I absolutely do not need people to gush at how great it looks, and if you don't like it thats totally cool. Thank you to many of you who respectfully said it wasn't for you. But some of you are just assholes for the hell of it. I used to think the Rolex forum was full of the biggest dicks. They can't hold a candle to some of you little bitches.
