A while back I posted about choosing between the Alpine Eagle XPS (Salmon Dial) and the Cadence version with a black dial.
Despite the XPS having the better movement and thinner profile, I really wanted a sportier more casual version of the Alpine Eagle. The 8 hz movement and titanium case also sold me on it.
This is my new daily driver.
Anyone else here rocking the XL? Combo of the Aletsch Blue dial with black rubber strap works surprisingly well!

Hey all, I had a question for those who own the XPS Forest Green (Or ones with a similar movement).
I've purchased mine from a boutique about a month ago and have been thoroughly enjoying it, except I notice a really annoying issue when setting the time: Sometimes, the minute hand doesn't start moving for twenty or so seconds after clamping down the crown.
I'm noticing that that happens when I set the minute hand clockwise-- matching the minute by rotating the hand clockwise, rather than anti-clockwise.
This causes the seconds hand to be about 15~25 seconds past zero when the minute hand is on the mark.
Has this been an issue anyone else have noticed? Wondering if it's something I should bring up to a service center before the warranty expires (which is not for a long time)
I’ve got a 2006 Chopard watch that I’m trying to learn more about, and I’d really appreciate any insight on its potential market value.
Here are the details:
I’ve tried searching online using the serial/reference but haven’t found much, which makes it harder to estimate a fair price.
what kind of price range would this fall into? Would love to hear from some chopard collectors.
