Weird phone call situation

Just as a heads up… I’ve put this on a ton of threads now so I hope one of you can help :)

Hi everyone! So I have a very weird question. So I noticed this one other time but I didn’t remember it until it happened just now.

My phone (iPhone 17 Pro that doesn’t have the latest update yet) rang once from a spam number calling me. I went into my calls to deleted the missed call. However, it doesn’t show it was missed. It shows I answered it as it’s not red. So I clicked on it and it says “answered on other device”…. however, there is no other device it could have been answered on. All devices that use my AppleID are mine and accounted for. AND the “allow calls on other devices” is turned off. Is my phone hacked or this a glitch? Can someone please let me know? Thank you for all help :)

Call Question

Hi everyone! So I have a very weird question. So I noticed this one other time but I didn’t remember it until it happened just now.

My phone (iPhone 17 Pro that doesn’t have the latest update yet, it’s at iOS 26.4 currently) rang once from a spam number calling me. I went into my calls to deleted the missed call. However, it doesn’t show it was missed. It shows I answered it as it’s not red. So I clicked on it and it says “answered on other device”…. however, there is no other device it could have been answered on. All devices that use my Apple ID are mine and accounted for. AND the “allow calls on other devices” is turned off. Is my phone hacked or this a glitch? Can someone please let me know? Thank you for all help :)

TLDR… can you please let me know if my phone is hacked or if it’s just a glitch prior to updating? Much appreciated!

Also, update I just updated my phone last night to iOS 26.5 so hopefully this won’t happen again

Discord Phishing Possibly

Captcha Questions

Hey everyone! I just downloaded the app and they asked me to verify by Captcha twice (both pictures, I never had to hit any keypad buttons or anything) before I got into my new account? Is that normal or did I download a fake app?

Hi! So I recently posted on the State Farm page about a similar inquiry and it was a great success, everything is all handled.

Now, I am wondering if I did anything wrong with another email I’ve received from another State Farm agent. I have my own State Farm account for my car, but since my boyfriend (pretty soon fiancé) and I are buying our first house together and he already has renters insurance, we decided to move forward with his insurance. I must have accidentally clicked a link on the secure State Farm app… because I got not only two calls from the exact number on the app, but the app showed something for a house and an agent who works at the building my agent works at emailed me. I didn’t click (or I very much so tried not to) on the pdf in the email. But I did respond pretty much telling him the exact story I said up above. After I responded to the email, I haven’t gotten any more calls and the home insurance button on my app is gone. But he never responded to email saying anything back to me, not that he has to but just to confirm that we are going in a different direction, I don’t know. Also, as per the StateFarm Reddit page, the email formatting is correct but the first two letters on his alias aren’t the same as what’s on his email, kinda strange 🤔

My question is what is the worst that can happen if I accidentally responded to a scam email? And I don’t remember ever clicking on the pdf but there were some times where it might have been touched without my consent, ie I had the screen open and my finger slipped or I was trying to close out the app my phone and it accidentally opened. Can you all please let me know? Thank you so much!

Hello everybody! I know for a fact this is just me over thinking things but last time I was overthinking I asked for some advice on here and I was greatly impressed and felt much better.

So to start off, my boyfriend and I are our buying our first house together and he has an apartment with his house renters insurance and I don’t so we decided to go to his State Farm agents. I never spoke to his agent until yesterday. I know they 100% they spoke and in the email she sent us, it was all things they spoke about BUTTTT here’s where things get trippy… one her email is [her first name].[her last name].[random numbers and letters]@statefarm.com. Idk if the agents through State Farm have those random numbers and letters in their email address. Can someone let me know? My Apple email shows that the email did come from STATE FARM but I know people can spoof it.

Speaking of spoofing, I know my boyfriend for sure called the right number but something about how she answered right away when I called her back, raised red flags. Is there any way someone can spoof a real phone number? And while I was on the phone with her she couldn’t give me our new address, she just kept on saying “well we switched you to be in [my boyfriend’s name]’s household”. I asked her about 3-4 times what the address was just to confirm she has the right one and all she said was something to the effect of what I just typed.

I know they talked and then she called me the same minute she sent him an email. The email she sent is the EXACT same info my boyfriend and her talked about, plus her name was the same in all communications, but I just need reassurance that this was a real transaction. Looking her up on the website does legitimatize that the phone number was the right one (unless someone got in a hacked their system or someone “stole the number” for a while using the agents name), HOWEVER there is absolutely no trace of this email.

Can you all please help me with this?
I’m grateful all they have is my address (but not really since she couldn’t confirm it), my DOB, my email address, and my name (& me talking and saying “yes” multiple times)…So what’s the worst that can happen :/

TLDR; idk if I actually spoke to a State Farm agent due to her email address and how she responded to my questions. Seeking clarification on whether or not this is normal.
