EXCUSE ME?! I'm speechless. After losing Catherine O'Hara, may she rest in peace, this feels like a crime.

My boyfriend's reaction to me taking my prescribed Ritalin in order to clean my house. I'm upset by it.

Ignore my people-pleasing instinctual laughing emoji. I'm definitely not laughing. I need to clean my house as I'm moving in two weeks and I haven't cleaned or decluttered AT ALL and I have two dogs so my pet bond is no joke and I need to get it back.

My boyfriend and I don't live together and I don't think he understands just how deep the mess and clutter goes or how overwhelming it all is for me.

He's previously called my medication "meth" and I didn't say anything but this text exchange is really bothering me.

I'm nervous about driving through the flood zones in Wellington to work but my boss says business as usual.

Is it even legal for him to request I go to my normal shift tomorrow?? I think he's trying to get me to cancel my shift before he does so he doesn't have to pay me. It's a 35 minute drive to get there and my route is through all the flood zones.

Both my boss and myself know I can't work tomorrow as the shop floor floods when it rains a lot, and the driveway to the staff parking gets flooded and isn't driveable. But he's telling me to go to work. If I'm the one who cancels he won't pay me. Unsure how to proceed. Do I risk the floods? Is he allowed to request I do that when the council says not to drive on the roads I'd need to use to get there?

Should retail businesses be open tomorrow? I'm nervous about driving through the Hutt Valley to work but my boss says business as usual.

Is it even legal for him to request I go to my normal shift tomorrow?? I think he's trying to get me to cancel my shift before he does so he doesn't have to pay me. It's a 35 minute drive to get there through all the flood zones.

Added context, both my boss and myself know I can't work tomorrow as the shop floor floods when it rains a lot, and the driveway to the staff parking gets flooded and isn't driveable. But he's telling me to go to work. If I'm the one who cancels he won't pay me. Unsure how to proceed. Do I risk the chance I start driving and then have to turn around? Is he allowed to request I do that when the council says not to drive on the roads I'd need to use to get there?
