En bas de chez moi, j'ai un parc assez grand. Des étendues d'herbe, des zones avec des arbres, des buissons. Bref, c'est un joli parc.

J'ai remarqué la semaine dernière, qu'ils avaient coupé l'herbe sur les bords du parc mais pas au milieu.

Donc, depuis 1 semaine, j'attends qu'ils coupent le reste..... (oui ma vie est passionnante)

Et aujourd'hui, je discute avec une amie qui m'apprend que c'est une 'nouvelle mode' pour la biodiversité.

Alors, OK, c'est cool, l'idée n'est pas mauvaise. Mais, en temps normal, ce parc grouillent de gamins, qui jouent au foot, au loup, à tout et n'importe quoi. Je n'ai rien contre la biodiversité, mais que personne viennent se plaindre que les enfants sont trop devant les écrans, ou à tourner en rond si on les empêchent de se dépenser dehors.

Pour la biodiversité, ils faudraient (je pense), que les nouveaux chantiers ne soient plus orienté 'full béton aseptisé', mais réfléchi en amont pour la biodiversité. Et qu'on laisse les parcs vivants avec des bipèdes !

I have 2 bad controllers. One has drift and the other have a faulty usb c. I dont have great skills with soldering but i want to practice. Which one do you think i try to repair ? Swapping analog or change usb port ?

I first watched the movie on VHS a long time ago. I was pretty young and honestly struggled to understand the story, but I still loved it enough to buy the DVD a few years later. I rewatched it multiple times, always feeling like there was a lot I wasn’t fully getting.

Years later, thanks to the internet, I realized that the books (as is often the case) go much deeper into the story. But every time I checked the prices, it put me off — I’m not really a manga reader.

Then about 2–3 weeks ago, I finally gave in and bought the full box set with all 6 volumes. I just finished reading them.

And wow… I’m completely blown away.

I highly recommend that anyone who’s only seen the movie reads the books. The film barely scratches the surface of the Akira mythos. It’s an amazing movie, but compared to the manga, it feels very limited.

I’m actually going to see the movie in theaters this Thursday, and I really wanted to read the books beforehand to finally understand it. Now I’m kind of wondering if the movie will live up to it.

Sorry for the long post, but no one around me would really get how impactful this was for me.
