My offsets

L-R in order of acquisition:

-Firefly Pegasus
-Fender Classic Player Jaguar Special 2007
-Firefly JA something something...not sure what it's called, its a 30" baritone
-Fender Vintera '60s Jazzmaster Modified 2020

I'm changing the pickups on the Jazzmaster today from the stock "Hot" pickups to Fender's Pure Vintage 65s. I swapped the Pegasus's pickups for a used set of PRS 85/15 TCI-S, replaced a broken switch and removed another broken switch. I have all the parts for a whole new wiring harness, but not the time or experience to wire a full harness, but I may wire it up like an SG and leave out the coil splitting.

The Jag and Baritone are stock, but I'm thinking about putting chrome covered humbuckers on the Jag. I love playing the Jag but never really gelled with the sound, which is why I got the Jazzmaster. And extra chrome on a Jaguar seems like a great thing!

They all play amazingly well. The Firefly Pegasus plays perfectly. Insane that it cost $300 delivered. The baritone was $200... I got the Fenders used after hounding FB Marketplace, then finding exactly what I was looking for used at Guitar Center for less than FB listings. I'm a happy guy!

I just rebuilt my tremolo by replacing the spring assembly and sanding the pivot plate nice and smooth. Now there is excellent tension when the tremolo is properly set -- and no clunking when I dive bomb it! A couple days ago I replaced the bridge with a Mustang bridge. The previous owner had installed a Guyker roller bridge in place of the AOM bridge. The guitar is a 2020 Vintera '60s Modified that I got last week. I have a set of Pure Vintage '65 pickups on the way and lastly a gold anodized pickguard to help with noise. The pickguard may not be essential...I'm still torn on what will look better.

But it plays wonderfully. I love the medium jumbo frets and 9.5" radius. I've never played the strings behind the bridge so the closer set tremolo position is fine with me. I have the same on my Jaguar. I'm thinking of finally changing those pickups next. Love these offsets!

Has anyone dialed in a good Mesa Boogie sound for Tery with their Joyo California Sound pedal? What are your settings? Are you running any other pedals into it as well? How are you connecting to your amp?
