ATM Fees and Sim Cards ? Best options !

ATM Fees and SIM Cards? Best Options!
Just wanna say a thank you to everyone who provided me with advice in my previous post regarding tips and recommendations for my trip today :)
I’ve 2 more questions!
What is the situation with ATM withdrawals? I’m travelling to Cebu and I’d like some advice on some banks that provide 0 fee withdrawals? Also is it best to get an E-SIM or buy one at the airport?

Thanks !

Not sure what to do ! Feel like changing my trip last minute

So I had a hectic year, with me just finishing university. I spontaneously booked a trip to Manila a few days ago as it was cheap but when I looked into the Philippines, my own error, should have done this in the beginning, I realised it’s pretty heavy logistics wise and a lot of travel days and boats and ferries. I’ve been to Bali twice and I don’t care what people say, I always enjoy the chilled pace of life and just making your plans as you go along. So I fly out tomorrow and I’m not sure what to do… book a flight from Manila to Bali or try out the Philippines for 2 weeks? I’m really just trying to read my body and mind and sussing out what I really want.

Booked a last minute trip to the Philippines! Feeling very much overwhelmed

Booked a last-minute trip to the Philippines yesterday and I think the reality of it is finally sinking in 😅 Feeling pretty overwhelmed trying to plan 3 weeks there for a first trip.
I think what’s stressing me out most is the idea of constantly booking domestic flights/ferries and trying to decide what islands are actually worth going to. The country just seems HUGE and I’ve gone down a complete rabbit hole watching TikToks and YouTube videos.

I’m definitely more into:
snorkelling / island hopping
chilled beach towns
nice social backpacker hostels
meeting people
slower travel rather than rushing around every 2 days
Not massively into hectic travel schedules or trying to “see everything”.

At the moment I’m considering places like:
Palawan (El Nido / Coron)
Cebu / Moalboal
Siquijor
maybe Siargao?

For people who’ve done 3 weeks in the Philippines:
what route would you recommend for a first timer?
how much should I realistically pre-book?
is it easy enough to figure things out as you go?
any hostel recommendations with a good social vibe?
Would really appreciate any advice because my head is spinning a bit trying to plan this 😂

OperaGXSetup.exe automatically downloaded onto my laptop last night.

So I was watching a movie on one of them free movie website playrooms when a file that is highlighted into the post heading above downloaded onto my laptop.

Not going to lie, my anxiety is pretty high right now, I did 1 or two scans and nothing has come up. I can confirm that I did not load or open the file ? How to I relax from this or get some comfort that what I downloaded is not malicious or dangerous ?

So I had a mate over from abroad here for the weekend. Oh my dear god I’m exhausted.. maybe it was the continuous one to one interaction, but I’m honestly flat lined with exhaustion . I feel like I need a week off to mentally and socially recover lol.

I feel like I need a need a padded room to recover.

Anyone enjoy hosting friends or is it just me?
