Hi all

How long would you say is too long between having a visit from an installer to receiving the quote for battery and solar installation?

I'm on day 8 now and haven't heard anything. I spoke to a friend and they said I should allow up to three weeks.

I had a quote from a larger installer within 36 hours and I'm expecting another one with 4 days (including weekend).

My gut is they don't want the job, they've forgotten, or just aren't organised enough but am I being unfair? I won't be chasing them which is a shame because I have used them before, albeit for "normal" electrical type works.

My Scenic is linked to Octopus intelligent go through the mobilize app. The mobilize app is set up to charge to 80pc. Today however it decided to go all the way to full.

Is this likely to be an issue with mobilize or OIG? This is the first time I've had this behaviour. It's possible the connection between the two parties had a whoopsie and the SOC couldn't be retrieved but hmm.

I did want to go to full tomorrow night anyway but now I'm worried (as much as five quid overspending can worry anyone) I've stuck an extra 20kWh into my battery at peak prices. Thankfully the app is set to smart charge only but not sure Octopus will see it that way.
