FICO - new to credit

Hello! I am new to credit and just got a credit card. I had my name attached to my mom’s for about 2 years, and I opened my own last month now that I have a new job that can support it.

My FICO score dropped significantly overnight, and I did not use my card very much at all. I am worried as I don’t want it to be affecting my life and I don’t have many people to teach me this.

My score went from 773 to 736 overnight and all I spent was $50 on a $1200 limit. Would it drop that bad? I have never missed a payment and pay every night. The score also only has thumbs ups and nothing showing that it’s dropping.

Any advice is appreciated. I want to start on the right foot with my life and don’t want to fall into a debt. Thank you :)
