Our plants are going crazy.
If anyone wants to know the care for them, leave a comment please. They are all going crazy. 3 orchids blooming. Created 3 babies. String of pearls going crazy. Her name is Medusa. One of my haworthias has 4 babies.
Pearls going crazy.
This is my first pearls. It was young when I got it. Here's how I care for it:
50% gritty mix 50% soil in a shallow terra cotta. I use bonsai jack gritty mix 111. You can find it on their website or Amazon. Bottom water every two weeks. Fill the water line up right below the top edge of the pot. I have a brita filter. Lukewarm water. Every time I repot, I bring the pearls up and lay them around the top of the soil. None should be hanging down when there's barely none in the pot. Use bobby pins to pin the pearls down and they will keep rooting creating more. Wait until there's a good mound inside the pot before letting them fall all over the place. I use barrina t5s on a 12 hour timer since mine are indoors. The lights are 8in above.
Rescue orchid blooming like crazy.
So this phal was donated when I worked at a thrift store 3 years ago. It was on the brink of dying. ☠️ I had to place a bag over it with moss and revived it. It now has 14 blooms and another off shoot off the current one lol. The only orchid for me that has bloomed this many blooms for me so far. I only have 5 phal orchids. 2 minis. 3 adults. Even one of the adults hasn't bloomed in 4 years...lol but I have 3 basal growths.
