How customizable are guitars, really?

For context: I'm a total newbie on the subject and I'm in the process of buying my first guitar. There are some guitars that have good woods and beautiful designs, but they don't always deliver the best sound.

I'll probably buy a more “ready to play" guitar this time, but in the future I'm feeling a bit tempted to buy one of the other beautiful ones (and with good woods) that I didn't like the sound so much and make a project (with a luthier) to improve them. Is this a good/realistic idea? What is the limit to customize a guitar? Is there anything that is unalterable in guitars?

Tonante Cecille vale a pena?

Vale a pena?

Se não, tem alguma sugestão?

I have a hard time understanding and keeping secrets

Hi everyone, I hope you’re all having a good day. For context I’m not diagnosed as autistic but I’m a typical case of “literally everyone else thinks I’m autistic and that does make a lot of sense” and I do have an ADHD diagnosis. Yesterday I accidentally hurt a friend by letting a secret slip out because I didn’t understand the importance of it.

Truth is, this is the first time someone called me out on it, but I noticed this pattern on myself before and it really bothers me, I wanted to know if this is a common experience.

Basically what happens is: someone tells me something, they say it’s a secret, and if I don’t logically understand why it must be kept a secret I just don’t process that it is. It’s not on purpose, it’s not like “oh YOU want to keep this a secret but I DON’T THINK IT SHOULD BE A SECRET so I’ll tell people and disregard your feelings!”, I just literally don’t register it. I forget it’s a secret. I forget I should be careful with the information. It just becomes a new information in my big mental bank of informations.

The secret I let slip out this time is that my friend is in a relationship. It’s a cis straight relationship, not something that puts my friend in any danger whatsoever, but apparently when he told me about it he asked me to keep it a secret and I just didn’t register it and ended up letting it slip out. And worse: when someone at the table (we were at a bar) asked about it and he denied he was in a relationship, I didn’t think “oh he’s hiding it”, I thought he had broken up with the chick. I’m so embarrassed and mad at myself for creating this situation.

What usually makes people suspect I’m autistic is mainly my special interest, I just can’t shut up about it and I can turn any conversation into a conversation about my interest. But socially I’ve never had issues of like, being accidentally rude or not having many friends, I’ve always had a lot of friends and I consider myself pretty charismatic, so that’s something that sometimes would make me think “uhm yeah is it really likely that I’m autistic? am I not making it up?” but this situation made me realize that maybe I have other issues.
