Indian men finding it hard to get brides is somehow our fault now??

Just saw a news report saying many boys in Uttarakhand, especially around the Dehradun side are finding it hard to get brides. But guess what reason the news channels are giving? “Girls have too many expectations and demands.”

Meanwhile, the gender ratio in Dehradun district is only around 902 females per 1,000 males.

• Child sex ratio (0–6 years): it drops even lower to around 889 girls per 1,000 boys. In some areas like the Dehradun Cantonment Board, it reportedly falls to 793 girls per 1,000 boys.

Indian society will blame literally anything except the reality that years of discrimination against girls and female foeticide contributed to this imbalance. Haryana also recently saw concerns over declining gender ratios and action against illegal abortion centres but haryanvi people will come online say "Haryanvi girls are too demanding"

This is why marrying within your culture or finding someone who truly appreciates your roots matters. To some, these are "symbols of tradition," but to others, they are just "burdens" to be avoided.

That's why the elders told us to marry within our culture, isn't this disrespectful that our " symbols of tradition" are seen as a burden, I have heard that pichoda is a sacred chunri, which is only worn by married women, but to someone it's not aesthetically pretty or whatever, saying the sacred huge nath which is given by mama's, are not aesthetically pleasing, if you can't respect the culture, why do they marry?

Isn't marriage all about merging two families into one?

Please help

Please help spread the word. A 22-year-old named Aman has reportedly gone missing from the Bus Stand area in Rishikesh, since the night of 9 May 2026. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and black pajamas.

His last message was a voice note sent to his brother. He said " Bhai mai yaha fas gaya hu. Yaha se kahi nahi jaa paunga." After this there is no contact with him.

If anyone has any information, please contact the numbers on the poster. Please share/upvote for visibility.

Three clowns frm Bijnor, Dev Chaudhry, Devesh and Prashant asked a local guide to arrange a call grl in Nainital. When the local youth refused their dirty demands, these goons assaulted him. Police filed cases against all including the local guy. Classic outsider swine behaviour.
