Mystery stains?

Once in a while, I’ll do a load of laundry and I’ll end up with these mysterious grey or pink stains on my light clothes. They go into the washer and dryer without stains and come out all blotchy. What are they, and is there any way to get them out?

I’m looking for a refillable stick deodorant to replace my plastic one eventually. I stumbled upon Wild, which looks very promising. However, I am in Canada and no store near me stocks it. I’d have to order in online, which with shipping comes to about $25 CAD for one refill. I’d imagine I would order it every month or so- I’ve seen a few videos and it seems to have a bit less product than regular deodorant containers. Is it worth it? That’s a big cost increase from my drug store deodorant and I worry about the shipping emissions. I know there are some refillable spray options near me, but I really dislike the spray on deodorant.

If anyone has other suggestions that are available easily in Canada (GTA specifically) I’d really appreciate it. Thanks!

Autistic adult living alone (with my cat) for the first time in a studio apartment. I’m used to cleaning my room and bathroom back at home, but now that I’m on my own, there is so much more. I have a whole kitchen, laundry area, and office space to take care of. I get kind of paranoid about how clean my space is compared to others. Can someone give me a brief run down of how often I’m meant to clean these spaces? Eg is vacuuming once a day too much? How often do I deep clean an oven or wash out garbage bins? Do I need to clean the cover to my sofa?

Thanks

The unit directly across from mine is occupied by a man who I presume has severe mental health issues. He occasionally screams and bangs on his door and likes to walk shirtless and shoeless around my floor at odd hours of the night, leaving his sandals scattered about the hall for the duration of his walk. My main gripe is the horrific scent emanating from his apartment.

This man gets two litre bottles of chocolate milk delivered several times a day to his unit, and I presume he does not finish them because very often his apartment will reek of rotting milk. If he opens up his door to take out the bottles, the whole floor smells of spoiled milk for a solid hour.

Lately, when he slams his door shut, the rancid air from his apartment flows under my door (doors are draughty) and it makes my kitchen smell of rancid milk. It’s bad enough that I have to crack a window and light some incense. I started gagging earlier today, it was so horrid. I’ve spoken to the front desk twice now and all they’ve said is “We will have a talk with him”.

I don’t want to start anything because he is clearly unwell and I’ve already had him looking in my peephole before. As a woman living alone, it makes me anxious as hell. Not sure what to do, really.

I am in the process of trying to grow out my hair after having it cropped a few years back. It’s currently at my shoulders when dried. I really love to wear it down, but I always end up with severe knotting , close to matting, by the end of the day or next morning. It’s bad enough that occasionally I have to cut out the knots. I wear my hair braided a lot now to protect it, but I really want to wear it down. How can I fix this?

I try not to touch my hair much, so I’m not sure if it’s just.. doing that, or it’s a consequence of rubbing against my tote bag straps / jackets / etc.

Routine (3a/b curls)
- wash once weekly with genetic shampoo, occasionally a Kirsten Ess clarifying shampoo
-condition with Lush candy rain
- I wet daily to re-style (curls don’t last overnight) , and use Miele leave in every other day, occasionally use Shea moisture mousse
- either air dry or diffuse
-I apply rosemary oil to my hands to break the mousse cast
-scrunchie or french braids and a bonnet for sleeping
