My kids stepped up
Yeah, breaking my wrist sucks balls, especially being right-handed.
But lemme tell you - I'm so proud of my kids, my heart is bursting. They've taken on so much around the house, with such little complaining. They've been so mature.
They help me prepare breakfast for them to take to school, helping my wife clean around the house, the 6 year old assumed responsibly for emptying out the dishwasher even though that's something I can still do.
The other night they decided they wanted burgers for dinner. Oldest daughter diced the onion and prepared toppings, youngest helped season the meat and make the patties, middle one was grill man (with my supervision). All my wife did was air fry chips and onion rings.
I just wanted to stop by and brag about my kids and how happy they've made me.
