Just found a really cool signed Thompson Twins LP. Anyone remember them?

Planning a chill surprise birthday for my wife - is LACMA picnic area the move?

Thinking to surprise her after a day's worth of relaxed activities to see the museum and then we go to grass/picnic area and our friends are already set up there. Anyone have any thoughts? Or better ideas? This would be this coming Sunday. Pretty sure they also allow drinking alcohol there (or is that only during the jazz nights?)

Any thoughts welcome. Trying to keep it relatively west LA because most friends are in that area.

Thinking about making a stop with my wife for her birthday. A friend said it was lackluster a couple days ago which made me hesitate but I feel hes wrong. Last I went was probably 10 years ago and it was banger after banger. Thoughts? Fwiw we are into paintings classic and contemporary.

I think I've driven by a place before on the west side (santa monica probably) and I can't seem to find it online. Its NOT Ghirardelli nor John Kelly. Def not chocolate bash. I think it was more down to earth and less commercial vibe. It's maybe a place you can drink hot chocolate? And just buy chocolate. Anyone know what I'm talking about? 95% sure it's not a chain.

Thinking to add this to a string of stops for her birthday. She loves dark chocolate that isn't too sweet (she is French)

Inherited a collection of vinyl from a neighbor's friend who passed away - the friend used to work in the music industry but not sure at what capacity. Had a bunch of promo records in the boxes. Anyhow, one of the records is a test pressing signed by "Wally". It has the following songs on it:

Could I Have This Dance – Anne Murray

Cherokee Fiddle – Johnny Lee

Stand By Me – Mickey Gilley

Orange Blossom Special – Gilley's Urban Cowboy Band

Here Comes the Hurt Again – Mickey Gilley

The Devil Went Down to Georgia – The Charlie Daniels Band

Don't It Make Ya Wanna Dance – Bonnie Raitt

Lookin' For Love – Johnny Lee

Is this rare or run of the mill? Some very nice songs!
