considering labiaplasty for aesthetic reasons (F 15)

my vulva is unattractive. my labia minora aren’t large enough to cause any physical discomfort (friction and so on), but they are large enough to look ugly and make me feel insecure and unattractive. I didn’t use to pay attention to it before, since it doesn’t cause me any health problems and they don't look that big. but lately, I’ve noticed how negatively and with disgust guys and older men talk about girls with this kind of intimate anatomy, especially these divisions into 'peach', 'shell', and 'beef curtains'. and in porn usually every second girl is so neat down there, like a baby (it sounds very strange and creepy, but I don’t know how else to describe it). these standards have also heavily influenced my self perception. since then, I’ve been thinking more and more about labiaplasty, even though I never could have imagined I’d have such thoughts, I used to love myself. I heard that it can be done for both health reasons and aesthetics (which is what I want), but I’m afraid of some consequences, what if something goes wrong or it heals incorrectly, or I catch an infection. is it normal to do this surgery from the age of 18, or is it better to wait a few more years if my anatomy doesn’t cause me any physical discomfort? what should I be ready for, how to prepare for the surgery, and what should I be ready for during the recovery period? maybe someone has had experience with labiaplasty?
