I know some people were mad about the “move your cars for street cleaning” post yesterday. knOw YOuR nEIghBorS as if I know exactly who owns each random car that parks on this block?? C’mon

BUT, can we talk about the serious lack of signage that the city puts up in some places? This morning is supposed to be the western side of Sacramento between Diversey and the Boulevard. There are a shit ton of cars still parked but I can’t even be mad when there are zero notice signs for the entire block.

If your car’s in this pic, please move it, call me a hall monitor, I don’t care. I’m sick of the three-inch deep pile of mud that’s been in front of my house since last summer.

UPDATE: I went down and took a snow shovel to the worst of it, purely out of spite for the person who said I was a bad neighbor for not doing so. Seven full trash bags and one angry lower back later: you’re welcome Sacramento Ave

I made an egg out of foam and ribbon as a gift for my cousin who makes legendary deviled eggs. Egg for scale

My cousin makes legendary deviled eggs for her annual Kentucky Derby watch party. Like, people joke that they come over just for the eggs. I decided to gift her an egg of my own this year 🥚💞

Materials: styrofoam semi-sphere carved into egg shape with a rasp, many layers of elmer’s glue & white acrylic paint to smooth the surface, yellow ribbon yolk, rhinestone paprika
