Frustrated with trash and dog poop everywhere at Burgos Circle in BGC. Can we do better? 🗑️🐕
I don’t get it. There are decent trash bins all around Burgos Circle, yet so many people still can’t be bothered to throw their trash properly.
I walk my baby there almost every day and it’s honestly so disappointing to see the area littered with garbage.
BGC is supposed to be one of the nicer parts of the city, but this is just making it look and feel dirty.
What’s even more frustrating is seeing pet walkers (or hired dog walkers) standing around gossiping with each other while their dogs pee and poop freely and then they just leave it there without cleaning up. No bags, no effort, nothing.
If you’re a pet owner who hires someone to walk your dog, please educate them properly.
Teach them to always clean up after their pets. Bring poop bags, and maybe even a small water spray bottle to wash away pee spots.
It’s basic responsibility, not just for the cleanliness of the park, but for everyone else walking there, especially kids and babies.
We all enjoy the open space and the vibe at Burgos Circle. Let’s keep it clean and respectful for everyone. Small actions like this make a huge difference.
