Landlord Removal of Active Robins Nest!

My landlord is doing current roof repairs (completely dismantling it) and there are two active nests within the gutter spaces that will need to be removed when they begin gutter repairs (next week). One of the active nests is starlings so I know they can’t do much there, but the other is a robins nest with eggs in it. I have informed my landlord, and he won’t reply to me (all he said was that they’re not messing with the nests right now, implying they will be later) or offer help to try to humanely relocate them. I don’t have any local rehabbers who will come out and help me, and I called my local fish and wildlife service who directed me to my game warden who said that they don’t go out and do anything for birds like robins. EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE UNDER THE MIGRATORY SPECIES ACT!

i am completely at a loss of what i should do, they won’t let me remove it myself and the roofers have no care or consideration to the nests while they’re working. it is so frustrating, and i dont want the babies to die!

Thank you for any advice in advance, anything is appreciated! My husband and I paper filed (married filing jointly) in February for the 2025 tax year, and already received our one from the state, but nothing from IRS. We tried to do the “where’s my refund” page and it always said we didn’t enter correct information and to try again (we know it’s correct info). We called in April before the 15th, and they hadn’t received our filing yet so they said to call back in a few weeks to see if it’s there. Since then, we cannot get ahold of anyone on the phone: all saying that they cannot take our call due to high volume of requests or has a wait of over an hour to get ahold of them.

We have tried to schedule an appointment with the local office, and the automated messaging won’t allow me to even schedule “due to a high volume of requests”, just like the main phone line says. We are thinking of sending in a 3911 Form, but can’t get ahold of anyone to see if it would be right for us. As of now, I don’t believe they have even received our mail-in so I don’t see how they would be able to trace the refund with the 3911 Form. We are at a loss and it is really frustrating, especially if it means we won’t have technically filed our taxes for the year. Thank you again for any help you can provide for our situation!
