So I am a recent graduate, I got an SDE offer from Amazon after doing an internship there. But due to certain circumstances a remote job will be much better for me. I feel big tech and remote jobs in US based startups require very different skillset initially. I was just judged on my DSA skills and nothing else for amazon. I feel under prepared for remote jobs. I don't know what skill set to work on. Should I start contributing in open-source? Or should I start making some good projects of my own?
