Help with planning my sleeve

Hi I am in the process of starting my full sleeve, I have landed on a main subject of a crane because I want the piece to symbolize peace, perseverance, and calmness. However, I am having a hard time coming up with supporting elements.

My current thought is to do a crane with Japanese maple leaves or chrysanthemums along with clouds/wind bars and waves.

I am not an expert on traditional irezumi composition, so I was wondering if this aligns properly in terms of seasons and overall cohesion. Do cranes traditionally pair better with maple leaves or chrysanthemums? And do waves + clouds work naturally together with a crane piece or does that begin to conflict compositionally? Thanks for the help!

How well will a color realism full sleeve like this age?

Thinking about getting a sleeve done by this artist but worried about readability and aging of realism tattoos.

Having a hard time deciding between these 3 artists for my full sleeve

Trying to decide between these 3 artists for a full Japanese inspired/traditional sleeve and honestly having a hard time choosing.

All 3 artists seem really strong in different ways some feel more traditional, others more modern/neo-Japanese. Would love to hear your thoughts on:

- composition/flow

- long-term readability

- overall quality/value

Posting examples of each artist’s work below. Curious which artist you’d personally go with and why.

Hi, I am interested in getting a full sleeve by a local artist, but I am curious how well the tattoo will age given the amount of color and detail. Any advice is appreciated!
