Sorry if I’m posting a lot but this has been fun!

This is my first aquascape, a 29 gallon in wall tank. today is day 16, ammonia spike ended day 10 and nitrite spike began, on day 15 yesterday nitrite spike ended testing at 0 and nitrate is 5 ppm. I used seachem stability first week and I’m using about half dose of NilocG Thrive+ fertilizer(should I switch to Thrive Shrimp before neos or no need?)

I plan on slowly adding each species about a week at a time maybe, starting with:

Week 1(now). 6 Amano

Week 2. 8 Cardinal tetras then 7 more end of week

Week 3. 8 Celestial Pearl Danios

Week 4. 8 Pygmy corydoras, end of week honey gourami(maybe)

Week 5. 14 Neocardinas

ITS TINY!!! Maybe like 3-4 mm

Added some more plants in my tank yesterday(still cycling) wondering the id on this snail? I think ramshorn but not sure. Either way it no longer lives in the tank lol

Today marks 14 days of my first tank, I love how it looks! It’s about mid/late cycle currently nitrites still need to go down but ammonia is 0🥳 the only algae that I’ve come across is a day or two ago I started getting brown dot diatom on glass. (Tank is crystal clear just some Co2 bubbles flowing around)

Setup:

30 gallon tank

Oase Biomaster thermo 250

15 lbs fluval stratum/ 8 lbs bio stratum capped in UNS Mojave extra fine

Pressurized co2 6.5 hrs day

Hygger programmable full spectrum light. 60% 6 hours a day(upgrading to week aqua light)

Very light doses so far of thrive+ fertilizer

Used seachem stability first 7 days

Purigen and filter floss in filter

50/50 RO and tap mix

At 30 gallons 30” L 20” H 12.4 W. Which one should I go with? The P900 won’t fit in my set up because it’s in wall and the P900 is an inch longer then L900. So my options are L900 or P600. The P600 is 24.2 inches long, and the L900 is 34.8 inches long.

Here’s my tank that’s been running for about 7 days. I still have some plants to add that have been out of stock but hopefully will get this week especially background stems in center, and others.

Also don’t mind my drop checker I know color is wrong but something is wrong with regeant and it’s not coloring properly, I’m checking ph levels and it’s way off

Pressurized Co2 at 1 bps(for now while still establishing will bump up bps when plants are more rooted)

Hygger 48W programmable light(looking to change now because I want better color)
