I painted something like this some time ago (to be exact, 12 years ago). As you can see, the goal was to create a 3D tarantula effect on a helmet. It was also a kind of test for me - trying out the capabilities of a new airbrush, the Iwata Custom Micron. Back then, I realized important thing: that it doesn’t work like that - you don’t just buy expensive equipment and expect it to paint for you. I had a tool with huge potential, but I simply didn’t have the skills to fully use it at the time. To this day, I’ve actually taken that Micron out of the box only a few times.

This is one of those helmets that probably brought the biggest smile to its owner’s face. A Lola Bunny designtheme painted on a Shoei Neotec II motorcycle helmet. As you can see its ‘only for motogirls’ type of painting :). What do you think?

A themed paint job on a Schuberth modular motorcycle helmet. As you see (or not) I used a Whiskey Fire color from HD palette, and the whole design is strongly inspired by the original Harley-Davidson Fat Boy painting. The helmet had to match the owner’s bike.
