16 years old and 5'9 tall
Hey everyone! I'm 16 years old (turning 17 soon) and today I'm 5'9 tall. I confess that, since the pandemic, I haven't been taking care of myself: I ate poorly, hardly drank any water, and was completely sedentary. Now I've decided to change that to try and reach my maximum height potential. I'm going to the gym, running, and playing basketball, in addition to stretching for posture. I've also greatly improved my diet and started sleeping 8 to 9 hours, which is double what I used to sleep before. Regarding supplementation, I'm using some items like Zinc, Magnesium, Calcium, and amino acids (Arginine, Ornithine, and Glutamine). What gives me hope of growing more is that my extremities (hands and feet) and my wingspan are quite large, but my torso is still short. My father is about 5'11 tall and my mother is 5'4. Since I've always been one of the shortest in my class and only started growing properly now, I suspect my development is delayed. Has anyone else experienced this or know if I still have a chance to gain a few more centimeters?
