I have not been locking in on drawing lately 💀 but since the semester is mostly over and things are quieter in the summer I have some time to draw again! :D
I rushed a fair bit with his dress and the background but it’s was fun nonetheless :3

I haven’t posted here in a while since I don’t really post wips and most of my current stuff of him is stuck in WIP limbo ^ ^
Since maid day was coming up I thought I’d quickly get something done for it!
Not my favourite since I rushed a fair bit especially with his outfit but it was fun to work on regardless
I’m a wee bit disappointed since I worked quite hard on this and it might get nuked by the Twitter algorithm given I might apparently be shadow banned? Not too sure a recent drawing I did of dahlia did unfortunately show signs of it but I’m hoping not ;w;
He’s the prettiest maid(en) of them all
Fun fact I went custom brush trigger happy when working on this and made like 4 custom pattern brushes 🥀
Looking back through the speed paint it’s a tad funny how his legs keep changing as I was struggling to find a pose for them he kinda looks like he’s tap dancing in it haha :D

One major critique I got previously was that the scene didn’t feel very natural or like there was a story (like why venti was holding an orange and aether off to the corner reading a letter to him etc.)
so I tried to change it a bit however I was wondering why the first one feels more natural/appealing than the second one I’m not too sure why or if I should continue with the first one either but advice would be appreciated!!
(The third one is just the second one with the figure brighter!)

My gpa is a 9.5, I’m honestly going to be surprised if I get either. It feels like everyone here and irl has a 10/11/12. I feel like I’m doomed I really don’t think my gpa is close to the cutoff and I’ve been losing a lot of sleep over this.
I gave it my best shot this year and tried my hardest but I think I still ended up not doing as well as other people who want the same streams. I know some of last years cutoffs but last years cohort also had like way harder tests and lower averages in general.
I feel like there really wasn’t anything else I could’ve done to increase my gpa at all so it’s just a tad disheartening knowing it probably won’t be enough for the two.

I currently have this Dahlia WIP but I’m struggling atm to fill in the blank space
I was considering bubbles or smoke but when I actually tried to draw them in it looked rather jarring
How could I fill in the space without making it look too busy?
Other than bubbles I can’t seem to think of any other thing to put in the empty space !!
