Thoughts on dating
I posted on here before, but I want to rephrase my statement/question better.
Context: im 22 years old, I recently bought an apartment (I will move in, in September), I finished a study for a specific job and did my first interview of it, it went really well so im expected to start working that job in June.
So starting june I will start my high paying job and in September I will move into my apartment.
I feel like I dont fit in with 99% of people my age. It seems like im a lot more mature than most. I cant have a conversation with most people my age, because most of their topics are related to parties, drugs, "fun",....
And I talk about financials, future, goals, taxes,....
I have a more mature mindset than most my age, which means I cant talk with girls my age and older women wont take me seriously because of my age (which is a valid concern by the way), even tho im a lot more mature and goal driven. In their eyes im seen as a "kid"
So im kind of stuck. My age is too immature and too different in mentality. And older wont even give me the light of day due to my age.
At this point, a relationship is not a main goal, need to clarify that too a bit, I have a lot of things I need to handle at this moment, but in a few months everything will be handled.
