I can't decide if this building resonates Atlantis vibes so far?

In all these years, I haven't really done much with the Atlantis building materials. I'm trying to build an indoor eatery and dining area. I can't really decide what's throwing it off. I feel like maybe it's the second story windows. I would have really preferred some rounded top windows, among other things.( Sadly I'm on switch version temporarily, so can't download any of the cool custom content I've seen. ) Of course it could also be the flooring for the balconies. I wanted them to be the actual atlantis flooring, but then I wouldn't be able to use the railings to enclose the balconies. I'm still working out the kinks for the roofing detail. Not going as smoothly as I had anticipated. Does this structure that I have so far, even give off Atlantis vibes? I keep feeling like it's to Texas Alamo and not enough Atlantis lol. It wasn't really supposed to be any taller than what you see, but some of the roof details ended up being a bit bigger than I remembered. So I guess they are going to be eating in a giant palace, once I figure out how to make a roof look right, with what I got to work with. I think I need some inspiration

Is it possible to put a path tile underwater

Not an underwater tunnel, but like an actual path and having water on top of it? I still to this day, hate that they left out the water geysers from rollercoaster tycoon 1. And didn't really give anything for fountain potential, other than a few fountains that don't center well with the entrance. I wanted to at least try to put a pathing tile on that front section of my pool to give at least a small resemblance to a fountain, by using one of those 4 way water spraying things. I have the cheat code name for putting things against paths, I thought maybe it would let you put paths anywhere, but guess not.

Anyone know what this building used to be called, before a volcanic vent took over the inside?

I was watching a documentary that I hadn't seen in a while and I was reminded to once again look for what this building was, before a fumerol near Pisciarelli took it over. I first saw the documentary around 2018 I believe and they state that this started occuring around 10-15 years prior to filming. I can never find any other information on this place. They say it was a club, it had a pool and a bar. I believe they said it was a couple hundred feet away from the Pisciarelli fumerol. I would really like to see some before pictures, and some pictures of what it looks like all of these year later. I'm hoping if I can get a name of the property, it will possibly be a lot easier to find more information. I've included photos of the outside and inside of the building. Thank you in advance for any assistance

How do you smooth edges on entrance and exit from a hillside?

I'm on Nintendo switch and I just cannot get the entrance and exit tunnels to be uniform with the hillside. The terrain averager never works on those two pieces. Sometimes works on on side of that piece, sometimes not. How do you get those pieces smoothed out without looking so unsightly? Raising the hill height, just makes it look even worse. Appreciate if anyone has some tips on cleaning it up a bit.

I built this totally awesome looping coaster, I have been at this for EVER. No matter what I do, no matter how much I delete and replace, It is not possible to line up the end track piece with the station platform, which sits at 18.83 feet high. Auto complete can't even find a solution, no matter what I do. Is there some kind of bug with the looping coaster on Nintendo switch version? This is just nuts. I have tried everything, including completely deleting most of my coaster, no matter how it goes. The exact same result every single time. What's up with that?

Been trying for years to get paths to cut into the ground. I have the tunnel icon thing selected, but it never works. Has anybody figured out a way to actually make it work? Just don't understand what they were thinking on the switch version

Would anyone know why it keeps failing when I cut or copy a folder from internal storage to paste in memory card storage?

I just had a minor repair with my power button on my steam deck, which otherwise worked flawlessly, and they sent it back a few days ago, royally screwed up and only usable for a very short time per day, before it completely gets stuck on a black screen, until the battery fully dies, with no possible way to see anything, even backlight, on the display. Now I have to send it back again tomorrow and I am merely trying to back up my sims 2 folder with my custom content and neighborhood that I spent untold hours/ months creating and downloading ( and still haven't had a chance to play with a single family yet )

No matter what I do. Copy or cut. It will not allow me to paste anything to my memory card. It moves the folders. But they remain totally empty. And then it tells me that it failed. Instantly. I have more than enough space and the card is functional and not corrupted. Does anybody have any clue, what could possibly be the problem? It is such a simple mundane task and I just don't understand what could possibly be happening...

Also, my game won't let me play unless I insert my memory card first, so I always assumed that all of it would be on my card already. but the actual game folder where I have to install all of my custom content in, it shows all of it on my steam deck hard drive. Could Linux have made a double folder somehow and all of this is on my memory card but hidden from view? If it did, that is one heck of alot of wasted space... Linux is seriously maddening sometimes. Does anyone have any idea because I am tapped out. Heck I would even appreciate a joke at this point. That steam deck repair company really knows how to twist the knife and ruin a perfectly wonderful day/weekend. I would forever be greatful if someone could offer some knowledge that could help his simple task start moving forward. Thank you

I just received my steam deck again a few days ago, after sending it in for repair for a simple power button issue. After receiving it, now there a continuous problems where the screen keeps going black and I have to wait for however long until the battery dies to have a functional screen again, for a random and often very short amount of time. . Needless to say, I have to immediately send it back for repair again.

I am scared it will happen while trying to back it up, and corrupt my entire memory card. I had a heck of a time when I first put Sims 2 on my steam deck, trying to put so much cc. And I remember there were 2 different sims 2 folders. And I originally put the mods and CC folder inside the wrong sims 2 folder. Which looked a lot like the other one. It's not easy to find alot of these game folders on Linux. like it is on windows. Can I copy the sims 2 folder that I added the mods folder to and move it straight to the memory card in one quick motion, and will it back up both my neighborhoods and everything else ( CC mods, sims ) in my game? or do I have to locate that other sims 2 folder and move both of them to a memory card separately?

Sorry I don't have the luxury of time to re- learn all of this stuff again after a year and a half, with a brain injury, and a device that cuts the screen off so quickly. Trying to be prepared and with a time crunch that I did not anticipate and trying to be prompt and not corrupt everything. If you can assist I would greatly appreciate the help

Does anyone recognize or know the name of a documentary detailing extensivley about the deccan and Siberian traps. Covid has messed with my brain and all I can remember is a scene in this documentary featured a business who had this pipe in the ground in the back room of their shop, where they would extract CO2 I guess? I think the man owned the shop was an older gentleman. All I can remember is that this was such a great documentary and I haven't been able to find it since probably 2015. ( My guess would be it was filmed after the 90s but before 2010. No clue of the names. But it featured both deccan and Siberian traps as the main topic. Does this sound even remotely familiar to anyone? I would be ever so grateful if you could give me the name of it or even a partial name. It's like it is nowhere to be found. Youtube always deletes the best documentaries

How would you react, if your kids school labeled your child a "leopard" based on their art ability and made them hold doors and move tables for all the "smart kid" chipmunks and giraffes? I don't see that ending so well for the school. Man oh man Susan Meyer annoys the heck out of me, so cavalier and saying it's an "essential job" for the class . Then BAM...I absolutely love how suddenly the tables got turned backwards on her lol. Moments like these bring me oh so much joy in this show haha

"Wherever Susan Meyer goes, bad luck is sure to follow" ( I know you read that in Mary Alice's voice 😉 )

Is anybody's game working on steam right now? It keeps showing a popup that says

"Failed to retrieve your steam account, check your connection and be sure to launch game through steam"

Its been working before, and my connection is working just fine. But it still won't let me play

I am faced with such an unfair choice. I just spent most of my moonstones on star path. And then I find this amazing raccoon pet and it is a toss up between the raccoon and the haunted nightmare before Christmas themed mansion. There is only 6 hours left until the store refreshes, and I am down to 4,710 moonstones. What is a guy to do? I seriously need some buildings for my forbidden forest, but how am I supposed to turn down such a magnificent creature? Has anybody discovered a time traveling machine yet? so I can make all my moonstones back on star path and go back and get my raccoon? Lol. If you were faced with such an awful decision, what would your choice be?

My brain is fuzzy and it's been a quite awhile since I've been able to play my game. Is it more cost effective to get the extra 100 tokens for 3,300, on the star path. I believe I have always done the 2,500 moonstones option. Do you get to reimburse all of the tokens for moonstones at the end? Does it break down to be cheaper after you complete each category page? is that only if you buy every single item on every page and not just the few to unlock the next page? Is that how it works for that? Can someone break that down for me? If I don't want every single item , then it won't be cost effective, correct?
