May I ask a question on my aio

I have a Lian Li a3 and a 360 aio.

That's the one.
Like this guy says, to get the logo to face the correct way up, I would have to remove the rear exhaust fan and change the direction of the pipes.

I was just wondering, am I better off just leaving the aio logo upside down ? There shouldn't be any issues with that should there ?

Or is the cooling more efficient when it's around the other way and worth losing the rear exhaust fan ?

Would love advice please

I am downsizing my tower from midtower to matx. The only things I am carrying over from my current build are my RTX 4090 ( will be going 6080 / 6090 in the future ) my 2tb NVME and the Super Flower Leadex Platinum SE 1000W Power Supply.

This is what I am up to;

1 x ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III Pro 360 CPU Cooler

1 x AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D Desktop Processor

1 x Lian Li DAN-A3 Wood Micro ATX Case, Steel Mesh Side Panel, NO PSU

1 x Gigabyte B850M GAMING X WIFI6E Motherboard

1 x G.Skill Ripjaws S5 32GB (2x16GB) 6000MHz DDR5

I just have 2 quick questions.

  1. Is that cooler going to be a tight fit ? I am happy to lose a few degrees of cooling to go with one that wont make installing the memory impossible. I did go low profile memory for that reason though. Thoughts ?
  2. Any other thoughts? I went that mobo for the 4 DIMM slots incase I ever add more memory.

Would love opinions please.

What is the sweet spot CPU?

I want to downsize my PC.

I need a new motherboard and I want to go Matx. I game at AAA 4k, and I am having real trouble deciding on CPU, because my main consideration is temp. What is the coolest running best CPU for my use case?

I am happy to go intel or amd, I just want something that runs nice and cool please?

Is it the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D?

Looking to build new PC. What do I do with my HDDs ?

So I really want to downsize and get my PC out from under my desk to the top of my desk. It's cooking me.

I have no idea about networking. I have 2x 24tb HDDs that are in the PC and I'm likely to add more oneday.

If I go to a case that doesn't have room for HDDs, what would you recommend to access the HDDs ? Is nas the only real option ?

Right now I'm connected to my router through wifi. I want minimal cables, and don't want everyone on the network to access my HDDs, what do I do please ?

Downgrading PC size

I am not super smart with this stuff.

Wondering if someone could help me. I have a mid tower pc. I used to have it on the other side of the room, with lots of extension cables.

The cables started to cause issues, so I have moved it to my desk area to plug peripherals in directly.

However the heat of having it under my desk is cooking me. I want to downgrade to mini tower and put it ontop of my desk but am confused on what to do.

I have;

Gigabyte Z590 AORUS ELITE AX / i7 17000f ( I will be upgrading this at the end of the year, cant afford to at the moment )

RTX 4090 - will be upgrading to 6080 / 6090

I live in Australia so luckily we are coming into the cooler months, but summer will kill me. Are there any good options, or am I better off just putting up with it until I change cpu and do it then?
