Can someone explain to me why Akagi's conclusion is so good? I personally feel extremely satisfied with his ending although his death is kinda sad

He wins but only enough to make him play more, he loses alot and had to pay with blood and debt. He's not some unstoppable forces like Akagi or other genius characters, He's flawed yet at the same time, he is the most moral character in the story, doing his best to try and help other people, often at great cost to himself. And i do think the show did a great job in keeping the viewers to keep watching. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this thanks!
