I have a 2001 bmw 325i with a ms43 ecu flashed to ms430069

I’m trying to use tuner pro to log data to get a baseline before I start tuning ignition timing and I cannot for the life of me get tuner pro rt to work.

I loaded the correct xdf, adx, configured the cable to the right COM port

When the cable is connected to the car it tests ok, when it’s disconnected it’s not detected???

When everything is connected and ready to go nothing happens. Car is running at idle, dashboard doesn’t move at all.

When I select “acquire data” DA changes from “Not Connected” to “Connecting” and doesn’t change for a very long time until it sometimes goes back to “Not connected”

I’ve spent hours on this I’m pulling my hair out

I’m 18 6’2 and 175 lbs. pretty skinny, I really want to work out but I genuinely can’t get my calories, we have nothing healthy to cook at home.

I just got laid off my job, can’t afford creatine or protein powder, I can barely drive I’m so broke. Gas is 2.00/L CAD here, I’m struggling to find a job.

But I know there’s probably people in a similar financial situation who can afford to keep up your calories beyond chicken and rice.

As for workout equipment, I have a barbell… and that’s it. I used to fill 5 gallon pales with water to do squats and bench press. No idea how to get equipment for cheaper

Financial situation so cooked I’m thinking of joining the CAF

I have a 2001 bmw 325i I crashed a couple months ago. I’m in the process of rebuilding this car to be OEM+ and reliable. I live in a province where emissions laws are very relaxed so I’m deleting the catalytic converters, secondary air injection, and a few vacuum related things.

I’m really wanting to make the engine bay of this car clean, and easy to work on, for now the connectors for the things I’ve deleted are just zip tied back on the wiring harness and I’ve pulled the fuses for what I can.

For the guys with shaved engine bays and clean builds, what do you do with these connectors? Just cut them and electrical tape them into the harness?
