Context: This is in Germany. It has to be Legal or atleast safe enough so that police cant shutdown my car because of the seats.

I have an E46 330ci which looks and drives very nice. I use it basically only for weekend drives in the summer. My only issue right now are the seats. It has the standard cloth "lounge chairs" which offer no support at all which makes spirited driving pretty difficult.

I dont want to buy recaros for 3k€.

Now I think there are following options:

1. Find some original E46 M Seats in good condition with electrics and heating -> I guess this is basically impossible or incredible expensive.(if anyone knows where I can find something in europe I would be glad)
2. Find worn out e46 m seats and replace the leather/cloth by a shop. Is that economic?
3. By a 3. Party seat by someone like Sparco or OMP. How will that work with TUV?
4. BUY E85 z4 seats. Supposedly they are plug&play. Will these get me through TUV?
5. Give my seats to a shop to modify? Is that even possible?

I would be glad if anyone could point me in the right direction.

What’s the best way I can treat this rust, how much will it cost, and can I do it myself?

Body is mint but the interior has been destroyed by a crackhead. Every panel is filthy, couple of missing trim pieces, wiring for the roof is completely tore up, and the supposedly "just replaced" expansion tank dumped all the coolant on my first day. And it's throwing a p0011 and p0102. Still kinda love it though.

Does anyone around the Tricites, Washington state area have access to INPA or ISTA? I’m so close to finishing my 1987 325is M54B30 swap (running MS45.1) but didn’t realize my laptop isn’t able to run the software. I just need to disable to clutch switch through the ecu then I should be able to start it.

I pulled the motor from my 2004 E46 330i ZHP auto about 6 months ago and here we are! A lot of you said to restore the E46 but literally everything needed to be replaced. So I figured why not reseal the engine and enjoy it while I take my time on the body

I bought this car for $2800 and I’m so happy I did, perfect mechanical condition and near perfect exterior condition. It’s soon to have coils and genuine 2 piece style 71 wheels on it. Lmk what else would be a good mod for this thing, wanna keep it clean and in the same 2002 glory it has now.

I have this weird issue that whenever I press down the gas pedal about 70% or more, this strange noise appears between 2-3k rpms. Below or above this does not happen. Also not if accelerating slowly. Any idea what it could be?

2002 325ci m sport. Driver side front wheel arch trim looks different compared to passenger side . Is it sagging or misaligned?

On another note does it look like early signs of rust, how can I address this?

My steering angle sensor went bad about a year ago, but I didn’t bother fixing it at the time. Recently, I got a job at a BMW dealership and had them install a new sensor I bought from FCP Euro (it wasn’t OEM) and calibrate it for me.

I don’t work there anymore, and recently my battery ground cable came loose, which caused the steering angle sensor to lose its calibration. Now I’m trying to recalibrate it myself.

I tried using Tool32, but it didn’t work. I also checked INPA, but I don’t have the calibration option that I’ve seen in some videos.

Does anyone know a better way to recalibrate the steering angle sensor or what I might be missing?

I just completed a overhaul of the CCV, coolant under intake vacuum lines dies valve upper and lower intake boots.

I’ve had the whole thing apart and this is the first start up does this sound healthy to you? I hear a sort of drone & ticky kind of noise. Please tell me I am just bugging.

It seems easy enough to change them, but if something else is damaged, I don’t think I’ll be able to do it myself. Just wondering what else could be wrong with it. Thanks

So my entire right side tail light is fucked. The connector is fried and pin three is stuck in it. I need a new bulb carrier but I cant find the pigtail and connector anywhere. I know it is a common issue, but where is everyone getting the solution? (The connector pictured is my current one)

I found A pigtail on ebay but it says its for a 99-01 sedan, would that work since it means it’s a pre facelift?

Hello everybody! I am having an issue with my 2002 325Ci, it’s cranking and not starting, originally I thought it was a bad fuel pump so I replaced that and it still didn’t start. so I got looking to other fuel components and replaced them all, and it still didn’t start. I got to looking into my DME box and looked at my F3 fuse and it was blown, so I obviously replaced it and it popped again. I have no clue as to why I’m trying to figure it out. these are the codes my friend pulled from the car.
